“Be Kind to Your Mind”: Hypnotherapists Unite for World Kindness Day with Free Relaxation Audio and a Challenge to Be Kinder to Ourselves

This World Kindness Day, 13th November, hypnotherapists across the UK are joining forces to promote a simple yet powerful message: kindness starts with the mind.

In a world where people are constantly rushing, comparing, and feeling “never enough,” local hypnotherapists are encouraging communities to pause, take a breath, and practice self-kindness through a free guided relaxation hypnosis audio.

“We spend so much time being kind to others, but often our inner voice is anything but kind,” says Nikki Hoare, a clinical hypnotherapist based in Plymouth, Devon. “World Kindness Day is the perfect reminder that compassion begins inside. Hypnosis helps quiet the inner critic, restore calm, and build genuine self-acceptance.”

Free ‘Be Kind to Your Mind’ Hypnosis Audio

To celebrate World Kindness Day, participating hypnotherapists are offering a complimentary downloadable relaxation session, designed to help listeners slow down, switch off mental noise, and reconnect with a calmer, more positive mindset.

This short guided audio - Rest and Repair -  by PlymHypnos Hypnotherapy can be accessed for free, offering anyone an easy way to experience the benefits of hypnosis from the comfort of home.

“The feedback from listeners has been beautiful,” says Nikki Hoare. “People report feeling lighter, calmer, and more able to cope with everyday pressures, often after just one listen. It’s a gentle reminder that self-care doesn’t have to take hours; even a few mindful minutes can change your whole day.”

A Challenge to the Media: Try It Yourself

As part of the campaign, PlymHypnos Hypnotherapy is inviting local journalists and media representatives to try hypnosis for themselves, either by downloading the free audio or booking a short session.

“There’s no better way to understand hypnosis than to experience it,” adds Nikki Hoare. “It’s not about control or stage tricks, it’s about helping the mind relax enough to think differently. Most people are surprised by how natural and peaceful it feels.”

About the Campaign

The Be Kind to Your Mind initiative is part of a wider movement within the hypnotherapy community to promote kindness, self-compassion, and mental wellbeing. Participating practitioners are encouraging people to focus less on perfection and more on peace.

Also throughout National Self-Care Week, 17th - 24th November, many will share gentle mindset tips and self-kindness reminders on social media under the hashtag

#BeKindToYourMind.
